Can I get exclusivity on designs ?
Bermark Design generally does business on a non-exclusive basis as we have found our customers prefer lower prices, and we can afford to sell our products at lower prices because we generally sell our designs more than one time. We do not disclose what we sell to anyone, so we have found little customer conflict on designs.
We can supply exclusive designs on request:
1. On Our Designs – Request an alteration to your specifications on an exclusive basis. If ordered, we will not offer the design in our product line.
2. On Your Designs - We can deliver exclusivity if requested when processing your designs into CAD Files, Models, Molds or Rendered Images.
What kind of molds do you supply? Can you supply silicon rubber?
- We provide rubber molds using Castaldo rubber or silicon. We will use Castaldo Gold by default – please tell us if you want Castaldo Silicon.
- Molds are made from an output of our CAD files that has been cast and finished.
What are SLC Files? Can I use them? Why are they Cheaper than STL Files?
SLC Files are a lighter file type than STL but are strictly a “printing” file and cannot be viewed like STL files. They are cheaper because they are easier to make than STL files and are identical to STL in quality, but they can only be used by Solidscape users. We offer them because many CAD/CAM users have Solidscape machines, and this is the file format we recommend for them.
What is the delivery time for your products?

Our usual delivery times are:
Products: 3D Designs --- 2D Designs
CAD Files: 1-2 Days --- 3-5 Days
Models: 1-2 Weeks --- 3-4 Weeks
Molds: 1-2 Weeks --- 3-4 Weeks
PR Rendering: 3-5 Days --- 3-5 Days
Sometimes due to heavy workloads or holidays delivery can take longer than stated. Please let us know if you have a deadline, and we will try to accommodate. We do give priority delivery to Master Members.
Can you personalize your designs with specific stones, metal and my logo?
An appealing feature of CAD/CAM is the beautifully rendered images that can be produced before a design is made. We can make these images, personalized as per your requirements.
Tell us what you need in our "MESSAGE" box, including the color of metal and the type of stones; and you can use the “SEND” button to send us any other information, such as a scanned picture of the color stone you want in the image, so we can match the color.
What software(s) do you use, and can you explain the different file types on your site?
We now use 2 main softwares when making our CAD files – JewelCAD and Matrix.
Both of these softwares are excellent, and with their different strengths, we can allocate our file work in the most efficient way.
- STL Files – These are the universal standard files that can be output by any 3D printer.
- SLC Files – There are printing only files, that are lighter, easier to make and cheaper than STL files, but cannot be viewed, cannot be mixed with STL files when printing, and are only for Solidscape users.
Original Files – When viewing our 3D Files, we tell you the software we used when making the file, so, you want the file in its original form, so you can work with it, we make it available to you. JewelCAD files are in .jcd, format; Matrix file are in .3dm format.
We will not recreate a 3D file in the other software if it already exists in one software.
When making 2D Designs into CAD Files, our prices are based on us deciding which software to use. If you request a particular software for a design be aware that our prices may change substantially.
Can I use the images posted on your site?
The images on this site belong to Bermark Design Ltd.
Subscribers may use the images for web sites or advertising only if they purchase the design from us. Subscribers found to be using our images without purchasing will be considered to be violating the terms of use of our site, and terminated as subscribers with no refund due from us.
Can I alter BERMARKonline 3D or 2D files to suit my special orders or specifications?
YES YOU CAN ! We are at your service for quick, efficient special orders.
At the top of our style details page is a button called “SPECIAL REQUEST” - Tell us what you want, upload a sample if you need.
Will I get an upgrade in status or a free renewal to BERMARKonline if I am a good customer ?
We will be allowing status upgrades and free renewals to loyal customers. You will see soon when you log in, your money spent with us, and what is required by us to upgrade you status. We expect this to be fully operational by April 2010.
Can I send you my own designs for you to create in CAD files for me?
How can I give my customers access to see your designs? Do you plan to offer this to your members soon or do you have other developments are you planning for BERMARKonline to make it more appealing to me?
We are working on a few more benefits for Master Members:
1. An option to remove pricing – so your customers do not see the prices for products on the site.
2. A Master Member extra “floating” password – for Master Members to give to their customers for brief access to a lighter version of the BERMARKonline site – with no prices, no statistics, & no administrative functions.
